Nancy Lyons, BSPharm, MBA, CDCES, serves as Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer for Health Mart, McKesson’s
independent pharmacy franchise. Responsible for leading and executing Health Mart’s support of operational and patient care
solutions and leading the pharmacy advocacy strategy, Nancy works collaboratively to create opportunities for community
pharmacists and technicians to work at the full scope of their education, skills and abilities. Nancy led Health Mart’s participation in COVID-19 test collection and the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 Vaccination and applies those learnings for the development of future pharmacy services.
Prior to joining the Health Mart team, Nancy served as Director of Continuing Education and Clinical Content at Drug Store News; a scientific advisor at Roche Diabetes Care, and a specialty pharmacist at Accredo Specialty pharmacy.
Early in her career, she held numerous clinical and leadership positions for Albertsons and Supervalu pharmacies, including leading the company’s national diabetes care program, organizing national grocery store educational tours, implementing a point of care health screening program, providing clinical training and leading service innovation. Nancy also was on the leadership team that launched and expanded Albertsons’ accredited community pharmacy residency program. Nancy is a licensed pharmacist, with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and an MBA. Additionally, Nancy has been a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, previously termed CDE, for more than 20 years.
In addition to her pharmacy career, Nancy and her husband Dan owned several successful small businesses. They have three children, Audrey, Emily and Andy; a son-in-law, Troy; and grandchildren, Joseph, Amelia and Theodore.
